Tasks:
The candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Within the project ERDF1066 HTC - IRS - Development of the HTC scientific research infrastructure (hydrothermal carbonisation): PM support, participation in communication and dissemination activities, monitoring activities of the preparatory phases for the upgrade of the HTC research infrastructure, participation in the testing, verification and functional trial phases, preparation of scientific publications and implementation of technology transfer activities.
- Participation in research projects in the fields of hydrogeology, water chemistry and isotope analysis.
- Carry out studies and research in the framework of projects co-funded with public funds, such as the ERDF Programme 2021-2027, Horizon Europe, etc.
- Collaborate with partners from research and industry as well as public authorities in research projects at regional, national and international level.
- Support the submission of project proposals in co-funding calls, as well as the management of publicly funded research projects.
- Write scientific publications and project reports (deliverables, etc.).
- Participation in scientific dissemination activities and sharing the results of the projects carried out.
Requirements:
- PhD in Environmental Engineering.
- Good knowledge of the English language, written and spoken.
- Expertise in producing peer-reviewed scientific publications.
- Expertise in preparing project proposals for calls financed by public bodies (regional/provincial, national and European), as well as in the technical and financial management and reporting of these projects.
- Research skills are desirable, with demonstrated experience in conducting literature review, experimental design, measurement of chemical parameters, sampling of various environmental matrices, data elaboration and statistical analysis.
- Ability to carry out tasks independently.
- Proactivity and ability to work in a multidisciplinary research team.
